Apparently DFE advice includes increasing the number of lessons a week a teacher teaches and class sizes also to increase. Obviously this  will result in increased hours a week worked due to extra marking and planning needed. Totally at odds with the same department’s advice on staff wellbeing. Staff retention and recruitment crisis is developing with DFE still denying it is an issue. Increase in the ask of new exam specs disproportionately affecting disadvantaged students. It’s OK though be as Social  Mobility will be solved with increased funding for Free Schools And Grammar Schools. Policy…
