Lost and found |

The current ‘weekly write 6’ was recently undertaken by NWP Bedford and NWP Oxford, on May 6 and 11 respectively.  Using the prompts, writers projected themselves into unfamiliar landscapes. The writing that emerged was layered with buried stories and images which re-surfaced, so that writers found themselves and their lived worlds oddly refracted.  The power of  imagination to come at ourselves and the world ‘sideways’, and the chance to share, to talk and to discuss situates writing as part of a philosophical conversation – and is one of the distinctive ‘affordances’ of a trusted writing…
