NHS apprentice quality includes involving unions | unionlearn

UNISON, Unite, RCM and unionlearn have been part of the group devising Quality Principles for NHS Apprenticeships. The unions collaborated with the National Skills Academy for Health (NSAH) and Health Education England (HEE) to provide health care employers guidance on what a good standard Apprenticeship provision looks like.

The quality principles highlight the support apprentices need and the help trade unions provide such as wider union learning support and mentoring. Unions also have a major role in working with employers to develop and improve Apprenticeship programmes.
